IOGuidePro is a configuration tool for the S- and G-series remote IO.
IOGuidePro can be used for assembling, parameter setting, addressing, commisioning and documentation of FnIO IO nodes.
Software has both on-line and off-line functionality and include all S- and G-series Network Adaptors.

Important information!
- No or limited module help in this test version.
- Please unzip the compressed file to a separate folder, then run the IOGuide2.exe file to start the software.
- Note, remeber working with M-series devices always add a power module (M7001/7002) directly after the network adapter, then add the rest of the IO modules.

The serieal number of S-series is 11 digits, G- and M-series is based on 12 digits.

According to IEC 60068-2-27 (shock operating) standard the general shock resistance is 15G for all G- and M-series modules.

This document provides guidelines for customers when downloading free software and firmware packages from SmartStore. These procedures are described:
Conversion guide for alternative products between S-series remote IO to G- or M-series
Use this PDF to chose a corresponding product. In some cases there are several alternatives that may need deeper investigating but in general:
- S- and G- (or M-) series modules cannot be mixed since they are mechanically different, however it is perfectly possible to have connect a S-series and G-series network adapter to the same network.
- The G-series is great all-purpose family that will work in most cases although not marine applications.
- The M-series is adapted for demanding applications and environments. It offers hot-swap and redundancy and is has a marine certifications.
